The football tournament 'Jam KWA' kicked off its first round on February 24th, with the KWA team underlining the importance of maintaining sports and recreational programs while expressing gratitude for the participants. In this matchup, Afghan United faced off against Rume, securing a victory with a score of four to two and securing a spot in the semi-finals. The upcoming round is scheduled for March 2nd. Six teams are actively engaged in the tournament, with the final match set to take place post-Ramadan. The Kabul Washington Association is dedicated to fostering opportunities for the progress of the Afghan community in Washington through the organization of such events.
