Introduction 

Kabul Washington Association (KWA) is a nonprofit organization registered under UBI- 604881349 in the State of Washington. KWA is a 501© (3) non-profit. IRS (Internal Revenue Service) Tax ID: 

Vision statement 

Kabul Washington Association impel, leads, and inspires Afghan immigrants towards self-reliance and drive community development. 

Mission statement 

  • To mobilize Afghan immigrants, resources, and platforms to empower, educate, and create opportunities for integration in the Afghan community in Washington State.  

  • Have access to some form of specialized social support and assistance to build supportive relationships and connections in the receiving community 

 

Values and principle 

With a dedicated team of expert staff and volunteers, we support the Afghan refugees and immigrants in across Washington State. Our core values are: 

  • Promotion – KWA strives to promote Afghan Community in the Washington State 

  • Responsibility – we Embrace every opportunity to contribute to the Washington Community 

  • Empowerment – KWA Works for Washington State Community empowerment through Afghan refugees’ encouragement 

  • Collaboration – We believe in the power of working together in the community. 

  • Integration – KWA facilitate the Integration of Afghan refugees in the WA community.

Memberships 

KWA membership is open to all Washington State residents. There is a $20 payment to become a member of KWA and serve the community. KWA spends the membership charges on the sustainability of the Association. 

Management structure 

The KWA management structure is made of three distinct levels. Program and Administration, Executive leadership, and Advisory board.
