The members of the Kabul Washington Association participated in a Community Town Hall meeting where two senators and one representative from the state of Washington were present. The discussion focused on topics such as a periodic report from the previous sessions of the House of Representatives and the Washington State Senate. The senators and representative endeavored to address the laws that had been passed gradually.
Furthermore, the speakers responded to questions from participating members. Members of the Kabul Washington Association, while attending this significant meeting, sought to share the concerns of the Afghan community with the senators and representative. One of the questions posed by the Kabul Washington Association was about the specific laws that the House of Representatives and the Senate had passed to support the Afghan community in past legislative sessions.
Kabul Washington Association has always strived to be the voice of its people and has consistently worked towards better services and more facilities for the Afghan community in the state of Washington. We have endeavored and will continue to be the bridge of communication between our people and the government.
